Happy birthday, John Lennon

“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.”  ― John Lennon

What motivates you? Is it fear, or is it love?

I agree, his lyrics and message are still thought-provoking today. I wonder what he would say today if here?

Ooooh, I got to agree with ‘Dip it Black’, for me it is both. Right now I’m in between Fear and Love and I’m going the full distance both ways and then I remember, just in the nick of time to humble myself, let God in and then I find that balance. I LOVE this!

Thank you for your words of honor!
