Offer Your Resignation

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” – Carl Rogers

“For peace of mind, resign as general manager of the universe.” – Larry Eisenberg

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. – Phil. 4:7, The Message

Isn’t it? Letting go of control can seem so scary and yet it is the safest place to be when we give that control to God.
